I love the smell of ephedrine in the morning!Cathedral light shows, oom-pah band concerts, every no-talent busker in the Rhine region - they all eventually pass by my door. Including the "Tour d'Alsace" which kicked off from in front of the Cathedral this afternoon. I've no idea where they were going, but they sure were in a hurry.

Great, now there is somebody else of whom I can be jealous. Oom-pah bands he says; how can my life compete with that?
The oom-pah's are charming, but you can take solace in the fact (I'm assuming) that you don't have to hear "La Vie en Rose" badly rendered on accordion five times a day.
On accordion? Ouch. I did not take that into account. Well then, I shall try to have just a tout petit morçeau of jealousy. It is Strasbourg after all, and it is beyond banal to say it puts London to shame. Ontario that is. Shame I say!
Oh, and sorry for using you as comic fodder over at the Canadian Cynic site. Those boys can get a wee bit tense (as you found out) and I felt like injecting levity. And kudos for being big enough to say sorry. I am wrong so often that I apologize about as often as I brush my teeth, so you have my respect for stepping up. "Stepping up", is that what the kids are saying? I have no clue.
Nah, stepping up was 2004. Sadly, I've no idea what they're saying now. If I did know, I'm sure word would get out and they'd change it again.
I've no problem being the butt of anyone's joke, when it's deserved. It's difficult not being a sanctimonious boob on the 'net - humour's a good remedy for that.
